Green Hysland Project

In 2022, Enagás Renovables and Acciona carried out a milestone in Mallorca, Spain: the development of a hydrogen ecosystem in Lloseta, turning the island into the first hydrogen hub in southwest Europe. The project contemplates the necessary infrastructure for the production of green hydrogen from solar energy and its distribution to end users, such as the island’s tourism, transport, industrial and energy sectors, including injection into the gas grid for the generation of heat and green energy at the end-use location.
