The Voltan Group has incorporated the company Garaysa, specialized in the development of renewable energy projects, electrical substations, and high-voltage transmission lines, with the aim of strengthening its Transport and Distribution (T&D) area and expanding its technical capabilities in the field of energy infrastructure.
Based in Carballo (A Coruña) and with more than three decades of experience in the electrical sector, Garaysa has expertise in the development and execution of projects related to grid reinforcement and the deployment of renewable energy. Following the transaction, the company will continue operating with its current structure and will retain its team.
This integration will strengthen Voltan’s positioning in a key segment for the development and modernization of electrical grids, in a context marked by increased investment in energy infrastructure and the growing integration of renewable generation into the power system.
This transaction represents the sixth integration carried out by Voltan since 2021, as part of its growth strategy in the energy sector. With this addition, we aim to continue expanding our capabilities in projects related to the planning, development, and execution of infrastructure that contributes to strengthening the electrical system.
