Overhead power lines
Voltan, through the company Garoc, carries out medium, high and very high voltage line projects. These include engineering, supply, construction, assembly, protection programming, electrical testing and maintenance. We are specialists in transmission lines, with more than 4,000 supports built. We cover wide geographies in Europe and Latin America, with rapid deployment of local and seconded resources.

Construction of new lines: Civil works, assembly and raising of supports and laying of power and fibre optic conductors.

Maintenance of existing lines: Ordinary and exhaustive inspections, both traditionally and with new technologies; helicopter, drones, thermographic cameras. Earthing measurements of lines in service and corrective actions.

Repowering and modification of existing lines: Reinforcement of existing foundations, addition of towers, change of conductors, retensioning, change of insulation.

We carry out engineering, civil works, laying of conductors and fibre optics.
We have extensive experience, having carried out the channelling of underground lines, both communications and electrical, in all voltage ranges; 15kV, 30kV, 45kV, 66 kV, 132kV, 220kV, 400kV..
Within this activity we carry out line maintenance with very fast response times. We have carried out numerous actions for the conditioning of galleries, junction chambers and ducts.

Electrification of mobility
We have carried out many works related to the electrification and remote control of railway infrastructures throughout Spain.
Within these works, various types of work have been carried out. As an example, we mention transformation centres, electrification of new tracks, remote control of energy, replacement and improvement of existing installations, deep electrodes and down conductors for earthing.
We have carried out installations of electric vehicle charging terminals. Our catalogue of services, from the construction of electrical panels and protections to the assembly of substations and lines, positions us as a reliable partner in infrastructure projects for electric vehicles.
Telecommunications
We assemble tubular and lattice towers for mobile telephone antennas, the preparation of the terrain, fencing and placement of the hut on these sites, as well as urban telecommunications antennas, both indoors and outdoors.
We lay fibre optic cables.
For the supply of telecommunications infrastructure, we have executed a large number of new connections with Low and Medium Voltage lines and installation of transformation centres in the Mobile Telephony Base Stations.
