The Voltan team had the pleasure of attending the recent EHS Supplier Meeting organized by Siemens Energy, a key event that brought together leaders in the energy services industry to discuss crucial issues around safety, sustainability and operational excellence.

During the meeting, participants addressed the global vision of EHS (Health, Safety and Environment), highlighting integrative strategies aimed at ensuring health and safety in all operations. The Zero Harm Culture, an approach that prioritizes the well-being of all those involved in the operations of Siemens Energy and its suppliers, was discussed in depth.

The event also placed a strong emphasis on environmental initiatives, presenting proposals to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainable practices. The importance of leadership and accountability in the effective implementation of EHS policies was highlighted, underscoring companies’ commitment to safer and more responsible work environments.

Another prominent topic was the global procurement vision, where we discussed how to integrate sustainability criteria into procurement decisions for goods and services. This vision seeks to align the supply chain with the values of sustainability and responsibility of those of us who work to make the energy transition a reality.

At Voltan we are fully aligned with Siemens Energy’s vision and convinced that their appreciation of these fundamental aspects, together with cost competitiveness, will allow us to acquire a greater presence in their projects.
